Responsibilities:
1. Perform the technical activities related to evaluation, development and tuning of chassis systems or subsystems related to ride, handling, traction, braking and safety attributes. These activities include:
a) Performance target setting together with vehicle or subsystem manufacturer
b) Vehicle testing in open road or proving ground;
c) Chassis tuning including passive and active systems to reach the desired performance levels;
d) Technical program management.
2. Give support to Chassis testing product manager for drafting of technical proposal and quotations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Engineering of Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or Mechatronics;
2. Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and automotive technology;
3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in chassis tuning: excellent knowledge of chassis subjective evaluation criteria and tuning methodology. Experience with Driving Simulator is an asset;
4. Excellent driving skills and vehicle motion feedback;
5. Good Chinese and English communication skill, both verbal and written;
6. Ability to demonstrate and justify technical decisions;
7. Willingness to global travel when required.
