Be responsible for EPS (Electrical Power Steering) product design, specifications, validation and CN release (drawing, spec, etc.) for cat 2 and 3 projects.
Lead product problem solving and root-cause analysis.
Evaluate customer requirements for product specification and function.
Execute Nexteer Customer Program Implementation (CPI) assignments on schedule.
Perform as customer technical liaison to support CPI flawless launch.
Maintain and update Product engineering documents, such as Engineering Bill-of-Material (EBOM), product drawings and Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
Provide product engineering expertise to support supplier development, manufacturing quality analysis, and customer requests.
Follow Nexteer Procedure and Process, such as Internal Control (IC) procedures, change management (CMII) process.
Support continuous Cost Improvement Process (CIP) and timing estimations.
Support new business pursuit activities.
Accept other job responsibilities as required by Supervisor.
Maintain safety and good housekeeping.
