To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material buyer located in Suzhou site.
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Material buyer role involves…
What a typical day looks like:
? Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
? PO release and maintain supplier confirmation into system. Expedites delivery of goods to users.
? Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule.
? Schedule pull-in, push out and order cancellation based on MRP report and follow up supplier’s feedback,
? maintain delivery Schedule in system.
? Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.
? Manages supplier to lead-time, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.
? Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management.
? May plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle. to support
? production smooth run.
? Makes tactical buying decisions. Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar parts.
? Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics.
? RTV execution and excess disposition.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
? 3 years materials buyer experience.
? Experience in electronics parts.
? Have the basic knowledge of supply chain.
? Good English in writing and speaking.
? Able to work under pressure.
? Be familiar with ERP/SAP system.
